ABS-CBN Interactive was given the privilege to visit the set of Goin Bulilit and talk to one of the two directors of the show, Director Frasco Mortiz. While waiting for the studio's set up and the kids to finish their dinner break, the young TV director and son of actor, director and Goin Bulilit creator Bobot Mortiz, gladly spilled the beans on the secret that keeps Goin Bulilit a hit across Kapamilyas of all ages.

When he was younger, Direk Frasco would frequently go with his father on the set of the top rating gag show Goin' Bananas where GoinBulilithe would observe how the production people came together and put up an amazing episode. Goin Bananas left an indelible mark among TV comedy fans so several years later, when Direk Bobot was tasked to supervise Goin Bulilit, he figured to bring on to the new show not only the same brand of humor but also the behind-the-camera learnings from the "Bad Bananas". Also, when the time came for Direk Bobot to get help in directing Bulilit, he immediately turned to his son Frasco who, like him, was a "Bananas" alumni of sorts.

Direk Frasco considers directing Goin Bulilit both a difficult and fun job at the same time. The business of making people laugh GoinBulilitis no joke in itself, let alone dealing with a bunch of hyperactive child actors. He revealed that for kids Nash Aguas, Sharlene San Pedro, Aaron Junatas, and other Bulilit mainstays, the set is just one big playgrounds that's why it's a challenge for him and the staff to keep them focused in front of the camera. But nevertheless, Direk Frasco gave praises all around to all the kids and even their easy adjustment to the roles assigned to them. Basically, Goin Bulilit features kids playing grown up characters caught in comical situations, and it seems that these young ones find it easy to get away with jokes that deal with socio-political issues. Direk Frasco and the other writers also help the kids in GoinBulilitunderstanding the jokes that might be too complicated for their kiddie minds to comprehend, but with the help of the high-tech mass media of today, many children are regularly updated on what's happening in the real world.

Direk Frasco finally confessed how proud he is for the kids who venture on to other big projects like some Bulilit graduates who appeared in the acclaimed independent film Pisay. For this he said that he feels fulfilled upon knowing that in a way, they helped these children to be the best actors that they can be. He also thanked all the groups who have awarded Goin Bulilit with numerous recognitions, namely the Golden Dove Awards, CMMA, and Star Awards. Finally, Direk Frasco expressed his gratitude to the loyal fans who continue to make Goin Bulilit one of the most watched programs in the country.
